Welcome to Kindergarten!

Hello! My name is Trina Barron. I am excited to be your child's kindergarten teacher this year! This is my 18th year of teaching! This is my10th year of teaching in the Sherman Independent School District, all of which have been at Crutchfield Elementary. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 30 years. We have one amazing daughter, she and her husband have blessed us with two sweet little grandsons. My hobbies include spending time with family & friends, cooking and traveling! I have taught Kindergarten, first grade and second grade. I love teaching children and seeing their educational growth through the year, I also love building relationships with my students and their families. 

Kindergarten will be full of lots of fun and learning, educational growth, building friendships, gaining independence, and getting ready for the next grade level. Our class will learn all about letters and sounds this  year. We will also learn all about writing, putting words together to form sentences and writing our own stories! My students will also learn all about numbers, counting, sorting, graphing, addition, subtraction, money, measurement and time!
